Azzurra is a member of the Founders Pledge Investment Committee.

Azzurra is Italian and has lived most of her life between the UK and The Netherlands. She has over 20 years of experience working in finance. She started out as an economist and later moved to investment banking to pursue a career focused primarily on Emerging Markets. More recently, as Head of Global Business Development, she helped set up a FinTech company turned hedge fund (1859 Capital) with an impact purpose. She is a UWC alumni and holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
