I began my career as a British diplomat, working in London, in South Africa, and twice at the United Nations in New York. I then became a campaigner, working towards ending extreme poverty and preventable disease. From there, I joined a consultancy that improves local public services. I joined Founders Pledge in 2022.

I’ve travelled to myriad countries - from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe - but London remains my favourite city.

Q&A with Diane

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Not remotely famous, but I’d love to host a dinner party for my four grandparents. I have so many questions about their incredible ‘ordinary’ lives.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An adult.

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

I'd love to say Sienna Miller in an action movie, but it would probably be Gary Oldman in a gritty kitchen sink drama.
