Bio
Lorcan is an Applied Researcher focused on finding new high-impact funding opportunities in less explored areas of charitable giving. Before joining Founders Pledge, he worked in the private sector as a strategy consultant, helping clients build impactful partnerships and expand their work on innovation. Prior to that, he worked as an economist, focusing on ways to reduce the risks of health emergencies and disasters.
As a researcher, he has published work in scientific journals and written technical guidance for the International Science Council, UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, and World Health Organization. Lorcan holds an MSc in Health Economics from LSE and was previously a visiting researcher at Trinity College Dublin's Global Brain Health Institute.
Out of the office, he enjoys time in the outdoors - either swimming in the sea or hiking up a not-too-steep hill.
