Bio
Tim rejoined Founders Pledge in May 2024 after taking a career break for health and wellbeing. He works on the Growth team focusing on operations and data management. Prior to taking time off, Tim worked on strategy and operations across the Member Experience functions at Founders Pledge. Before FP, Tim worked as a craft chocolate maker, an animal rights organizer at The Humane League, and as a public affairs fellow at Coro Northern California. California born and raised, Tim grew up in the Central Valley and moved to the Bay Area after school to escape the scorching summers. Outside of work, you can find him walking around all corners of San Francisco, playing games of any variety, and always on the hunt for the next great pastry.
Q&A with Tim
Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?
Chef and restauranteur David Chang, hands down. I would love to talk to him about all things, food or otherwise, and I have full confidence he'd pick a worthy place for our dinner date.
Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. I loved making up characters and creating stories for them, and I thought it would be the coolest thing to do that for a living.
Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?
No doubt I'd have my celebrity lookalike Josh Hutcherson play me in any movie about my life, perhaps in a dramedy with more comedy than drama.
